Helloooo!
Looks like you have just navigated into my personal home page :).
Great its nice to have somebody reading these lines now and then.
About Me
Let me introduce myself, I'm Harsha.....Harsha Sagar is the full name. "Harsha" for friends and
"Sagar" for all those dear to me. Shan't eat ur head....so its juz a small intro...
I was born in Madanapalli(Near Tirupathi, A.P, India for those who have never heard of it)...
small...but one of my favourite destinations (unfortunately I live in a city called Bangalore...
u know Bangalore right???)..yeah Bangalore the once Garden city & now the most happening city
for IT
I'm 27...born on April 24th,
a Taurean.... I could describe myself as...gentle, slow to anger, reliable, practical & ambitious
I love music, web designing & all things beautiful..... I have an uncanny eye for detail and perfection which
could really bother others.
My childhood days were spent in Bangalore, once a beatiful place with a pleasant climate. I finished my schooling in
Bangalore and due to personal reasons moved to A.P. after that.
Professional
I am a Computer Science graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Ananthapur, A.P.
I started of my career (as a trainee) in early 2003 when I was selected to complete my final year engineering
project with Wipro Infotech Ltd. Bangalore, six months later I got my first "real" job in Symphony Services (I) Pvt. Ltd.
Having just come out of college, and getting a good job my only primary concern, I
hardly worried about what technology or domain I would work on. I was told that I would be working for Siebel,
I had never heard of Siebel till then, but that was hardly a concern. So it was with Siebel that I entered the world of CRM,
initially recruited as part of localization team for Siebel, I quickly moved on to Territory Management
and Life Sciences.
After finishing 2 years with Siebel, one fine morning I came to know that Oracle had acquired Siebel, ofcourse
as we were indirect employees of Siebel the impact was going to be minimal. Though we were informed that it was
"business as usual", the brief hint of uncertainity led me and many of my colleagues to move on. Siebel consulting was then
a highly lucrative career option, however I chose to be in CRM product development and joined SAP Labs.
So currently (as of 1st week of April, 2008) I am working at SAP Labs India, located in Bangalore.
In SAP I experienced true product ownership,
it is a great feeling to design and develop a product that will be used by thousands of users
I am part of the CRM product development
team and I have recently completed two years in SAP. Unfortunately me days in SAP are numbered and coming to
a close, life in SAP has been really cool, but very soon I will have to encounter turbulence as I move on to become a
SAP Consultant, I feel sad to leave such a great company however this is also an opportunity to come out of my
comfort zone and face new challenges, I hope to return to SAP labs some day and will keep you posted.
Personal
Don't have any brothers or sisters..wish I did...have a close cousin..Bhargav...
saved me from loneliness.....and there is mama...she is working in Karnataka State Handicrafts...
On 30th May, 2004 I married my engineering classmate Swetha, about 2 years ago I had written
in my earlier wesite that I would come up with a
page dedicated to Swetha, unfortunately it has not turned into reality till date. Well I do plan to
write about her.. letz see when.
Well thatz about me for now.
